Sock Monkey is here!

Everybody Loves a Sock Monkey, When do you not hear someone scream with that crazy voice,"Sock Monkey!".  Monkey was made with some vintage socks that I've been holding onto for some time. We had our Craft Night and since I couldn't drag out my embroidery machine, I decided to take a few pairs and make a sock monkey. He needs a name! Give him a name~! Notice what he is sitting in.. a vintage veggie bin from an old fridge~! Found that in Bristol while hitting yard sales.  Don't forget Baby Monkey,, can be a girl or boy, depending on the ribbons or colors you add.

Country Fixings

Craft fair goodies. Lots of grungy kitties and assorted fall items.

Pumpkins! So soft and the use of assorted fabrics
was so much fun.
This is a snow bunny made for Roane County Country Fair in October 2012. Snow bunny was the first to go. Apparently men bought the primitive snow creations for their sweet wives~ !

For our fall crafts show, I made these prim candy corn bowl fillers, just sure that they would sell. They didn't. You never know what will sell and what will not.
Here's Basket Ball Anne. She was a special order Raggedy Doll. Lots of fun making her!! She's made from a vintage 15 inch Raggedy Ann Pattern. I love my embroidery machine and was able to make the School name and her uniform number.  Next time I'll take more step by step pictures.
